Founded in 1943 as a parish school, Fra Joan Ballester School is the only subsidised centre in the municipality of Campos. At present, the educational stages of Infant Education (2nd cycle), Primary Education and Secondary Education are taught. Associated with the American Dual Baccalaureate programme, it combines the split school day with the services of a matinee school, a dining room, an afternoon stay and extra-curricular activities.
